The district of Medak includes some big towns.They are Medak, Siddipet, Narsapur, Ramayampet, Gajwel, Narayankhed, Zaheerabad and Gummadidala. Medak district is divided into 45 mandals. About 78% people are engagedagriculture and allied activities. The major crops grown here are Rice, Jowar, Cotton, Turmeric, Maize, Arhar, Chillies, Sugar Cane and Sesame. The Rivers which traverse the District are Manjeera, Valdhi, Gudleruvagu and Kadaleru.
